Employer Authorization & Issuer Agreement
EMPLOYER AUTHORIZATION & ISSUER AGREEMENT
By creating an EthicCred Organisation account, the registering individual represents and warrants to EthicCred that:
1. Authority
They are authorised by the organisation to bind it to this Agreement and to issue certificates and verifications on its behalf.
2. Issuance Responsibility
The organisation will only issue records that are accurate, lawful, authorised, professionally appropriate, and supported by internal evidence. The organisation accepts sole responsibility for the content of records it issues.
3. Conduct Records
Conduct certificates and recommendations will be based on professional workplace observations and will not contain criminal accusations, defamatory content, medical information, or unauthorised personal data.
4. Revocation
The organisation will promptly revoke records where errors are discovered, fraud is suspected, or authorisation is withdrawn.
5. Authorised Representatives
The organisation will manage which of its employees may issue records. The organisation remains responsible for the actions of its authorised representatives.
6. Compliance
The organisation will comply with the Certificate Issuance Policy, Consent & Verification Policy, Privacy Policy, Trust & Safety Enforcement Policy, and Dispute Resolution Policy.
7. Audit
The organisation acknowledges that EthicCred may retain audit logs of issuance events and may suspend issuance privileges where serious or repeated violations occur.
8. Termination
EthicCred may suspend or terminate organisation accounts that violate platform policies. Certificates already issued may continue to be verifiable for audit purposes subject to the Certificate Issuance Policy.
