ETHICCRED COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
1. Be Truthful
Submit only records you can support with evidence. Misrepresenting employment, education, or credentials damages trust for everyone.
2. Be Respectful
Recommendations, conduct certificates and reviews should be professional, fact-based, and constructive. Personal attacks, defamation, discrimination, and harassment are not permitted.
3. Respect Privacy
Do not share other users' confidential information without consent. Do not submit certificates that include another person's sensitive personal data.
4. Protect Your Account
Use strong, unique passwords. Enable multi-factor authentication when available. Never share authentication credentials. Report suspicious access immediately.
5. Issue Responsibly
If you are an organisation, only issue records you are authorised to issue and that you can substantiate. Treat the EthicCred badge with the gravity it deserves.
6. Report Issues
Help us keep EthicCred trustworthy. Use the dispute system or contact Trust & Safety if you see suspicious certificates, impersonation, or abuse.
7. Consequences
Repeated violations may lead to certificate revocation, account suspension, and removal from the EthicCred network.
